Keith Brautigam

Keith Brautigam is an IT and cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in identity and access management. His career began in systems administration and developed into senior technology leadership, including roles as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Deputy CIO, and Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO). His work has covered information security, compliance, technology modernization, and access management. Keith Brautigam of Penn State was born in San Diego, California, and moved to the East Bay Area of San Francisco when he was two. His interest in technology started after being introduced to early Amiga and Atari computers through friends. Initially interested in video games, he soon became curious about improving computer performance. His family later relocated to Iowa City, Iowa. He earned a Communication and Media Studies degree from the University of Iowa and studied abroad in Mérida, Venezuela.
