Ethan Brooks

Ethan Brooks is a product-minded software engineer based in Dallas, Texas, who values speed, reliability and approachable user experiences. He is the maker of Florm, an online form builder and survey maker, where he builds the platform for creating online forms and surveys without code, including visual form editing, NPS surveys, partial-response tracking and Excel and PDF export. Before Florm, Ethan worked as a developer at RTB House in advertising technology, at MassMutual in financial services and insurance, and at Firsthand Health Inc., a healthtech company building software that supports care teams and people living with serious mental illness. He holds a master’s degree in Python development and software engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. His interests include Python, form and survey platforms, frontend product experiences, reliable high-performance systems and user experience design. He also writes Florm’s guides, survey templates and calculators.
