Dr. Thomas Gratzer

Dr. Thomas Gratzer is a board-certified psychiatrist with more than 30 years of experience in general and forensic psychiatry in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. He has practiced at several hospitals in St. Paul and Minneapolis, including Psych Recovery, Regions Hospital, United Hospital, and Fairview University Medical Center. His practice generally includes about 100 patient visits each week in addition to several forensic evaluations. He is expected to return to practice at Psych Recovery. Over the years, Thomas Gratzer has held several important positions in psychiatry. From 1995 to 2002, he served as Senior Forensic Psychiatrist at the Minnesota Security Hospital. Between 1999 and 2015, he also worked as a consulting psychiatrist for the Minnesota Department of Corrections at the Juvenile Detention Center, providing mental health care for incarcerated youth.
