Anton Ditchev

Anton Ditchev is a New York criminal defense attorney and the founder of Ditchev Law PLLC. For fifteen years, he represented clients at The Legal Aid Society, most recently as a Senior Trial Attorney in the Queens County Trial Practice. His work has covered parole and DMV refusal hearings, as well as misdemeanors and major felonies, and his practice is grounded in preparation and in treating every client with dignity and respect. Anton Ditchev was born in 1983 in Bulgaria, which was then under communist rule. His parents, Dimo and Dora, came from villages, and both were well educated and ambitious. After communism fell, his father received a NATO grant in 1991 to conduct research at Cornell University, and the family moved to Ithaca, New York. Ditchev was seven, his sister was three, and he spoke only a little English. He has said that the culture shock of arriving as a young immigrant shaped how he sees the world.
