Formtorch

Form backend API for handling forms without a backend

Visit

Formtorch is a modern form backend API and serverless form backend that lets developers handle form submissions without building or maintaining a backend. It works with any HTML form and integrates seamlessly with modern frameworks like React, Next.js, Astro, and Vue.

Simply point your form to a Formtorch endpoint and start receiving submissions instantly. No server setup, no backend code, and no infrastructure to manage. It is a fast, reliable way to add contact forms, lead capture, and user input handling to any project.

Compared to Formspree, Formtorch offers a more modern developer experience with better performance, built-in spam protection, and flexible integrations.

I will it for my customers forms, thank you :)

Suena muy práctico, sobre todo para ahorrar tiempo evitando montar backend solo por formularios; si además mejora rendimiento y anti-spam frente a Formspree, vale la pena probarlo.

Decoupling form handling from the frontend is a great idea for solo founders. Most people waste time wiring up form backends when they should focus on the product itself. The API-first approach also makes it easy to swap frontends later.

Will try it. Currently I used AidaForm to embed form on my website

I built Formtorch after running into the same frustrating problem over and over again: handling forms in modern apps shouldn’t require spinning up a backend or dealing with tools that feel outdated. Existing solutions like Formspree work, but I often ran into limitations with restrictive free tiers and slow or outdated support. The developer experience felt clunky, and it didn’t match how we build modern apps today. Formtorch started as a simple idea: make form handling as easy as pointing to an endpoint, while still giving developers the power they need like spam protection, webhooks, and integrations. It is built to be faster, cleaner, and more developer-friendly, with a generous free plan so you can actually use it for real projects. Still actively improving it, so feedback is very welcome. Would love to hear how you're handling forms today and what you wish was better.

Nice execution on a real pain point. What's the biggest differerences vs. what you'd get with Formspree/Getform etc.

Hey! We're Great Work, we built Shake It...

This could be really useful for folks wanting to validate idea quickly, like throw up a form on a new domain to test an idea's viability. Would love to see this bundled with some light analytics too. Congrats on the launch!
